Phone Video → Measurable Point Cloud (Queen Mary 2)
0:51
A phone-camera pass of deck furniture aboard the Queen Mary 2, beside the point cloud derived from it — used to measure real dimensions. Sharp and faithful, without the heavy processing of a photoreal render.

This footage was captured with nothing more than a phone camera, walking the deck of the Queen Mary 2. On the left, the original video, a simple table and chairs out on the open deck. On the right, the point cloud derived from that same footage, a true three-dimensional record you can measure directly, taking real dimensions straight off the furniture. The original video stays sharp and faithful, arguably a richer, truer picture than Gaussian splatting will ever deliver, and it comes without the heavy processing, the GPU time, and the price tag that go with it. Just a phone, a short walk, and you have both a clear visual record and a measurable model.
